Thornwell Dunlapf former resident of this city, arrived last week from Key Field, Meridian, Miss., on terminal leave to join his wife and two children at their home in Laurens. * Capt. Dunlap left Clinton in Feb ruary, 1941, as an officer of the local National- Guard unit and is now com pleting more than four and ohe-half years service. The Tax Books wilfite bpen for the collection of taxes at the office of the Town Clerk on ayd after October 15th, and will remain open up to and through December 15th. A penalty of five (5%) per cent will be added on all taxes not paid by this date, and an additional ten (10%) per cent shall be added if said taxes and penalties are not paid on or before the 31st day of December, 1945.
