BARDEN GETS DOCTOR'S DEGREE The administrative offices of Teach ers college, Columbia university New York, last week notified the office of the dean ,of Presbyterian college that Professor John G. Barden had stood an unusually fine examination in completing the requirements lor the do^r of i^osoi^y degree. Several years ago Mr, Barden com pleted the course requirements for the Ph.D, and stood the comprehen-' slve preliminary examinations.
