Birth Announcement Mr. and Mrs. Claudie Warren are receiving congratulations on the birth of a daughter on Monday, July 25. The little girl has been given the name of Sylvia Anne. Bible SchoM Cloaes Commencement exercises of the Va cation Bible school of Calvary Bap tist church were held Sunday eve ning at the regular preaching hour. The school was held for two weeks and had a total enrollment of 125, with an average attendance of 101, with 76 receiving certificates. At the close of the school the chil dren enjoyed an ice cream supper given by their teachers, Mrs. R. D. Hughes, Miws Nora Cannon, Miss Ma rie Wier, Miss Myrtle Trammell and Rev. R. D. Hughes. Two Clinton Boys Hurt In Wreck e 1 Forest Adair and John M. Ray, ofj this city, were hurt in a wreck Sun day night when their automobile skid ded and turned over on the Chester- Charlotte highway. They were re-j moved to a Chester hospital where they are now patients, and their con dition is expected to show sufficient improvement to remove them to their! homes here in the next few days. Miss Lillian Braswell, of this city, and Miss Ruth Harmon of Chester, who were' accompanying the young men when the accident occurred, escaped with a few minor injuries. ! J. B.
