Life is a spiritual aft — the spiritual deter mines the true meaning of life, and without this proper perspective there is bound to come dis^jc^intment and failure. Dr. Fulton gave a review of inter national problems confronting the world today. But what have these problems and great accomplishments brought us, he asked, if the spiritual qualities of love and good will are still missing. Man is in possession of un precedented powers, he is becoming the victim of a machine age and the world grows more doubtful of its horsemambip. Continuing, Dr. Fulton said, the su preme need of the present is men and women of character*, who ring true and stand unshaken and possess the moral and spiritual elements of con trol. I believe, he said, that a test should be put to every young man and woman entering college to ascertain if they possess such character. Be smart, young graduates, he said, but above that be true.
