Mr. Car- raway was 73 years of age and had been, in failing health for several months. He was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian church and u man of splendid Christian character rich in the possession of many sin ceie friends. He is survived by the following sons and daughters: G. F Carraway of Sardis, J H Carraway of Olanta, C M Carraway of Charles ton, Reuben Carraway of Mullins, Mrs. W. B. Goodman and Mrs. J T Wilder of Timmonsville and Miss Ida Rush of Olanta. The funeral services and interment took place in Olanta, Mr. Carraway’s old home. The services were con ducted by the Presbyterian pastor, assisted hy the Rev J H Gaines of the Baptist church and the Rev Roy Phillips of the Methodist church of rtinmonsvlllo.
