TUie larger estates are* everywhere In process of disintegration, and if my information be correct advantage has been taken of this by Irish-Americans to acquire substantial portions of the island.” The procedure Is for a number of tenant farmers or small holders of land to club together for the purchase of an estate, paying 20 per cent of the purchase price In cash and get ting one of the numerous banks which are everywhere sprinjflng up to ad vance the balance against the security of the title deeds.
