Motor truck traffic between indus trial centres in Connecticut and New York City, Boston and Providence lias reached such great proportions that state highway commissioners are urging shippers to restrict the maxi mum load on trucks to 25,00') pounds. According to the National Automo bile Chamber of Commerce utilization of the motor truck is enabling the railroads to "catch up" with traffic needs which mounted so enormously during the war.
