The auxiliary is sending report of their action broadcast and they are urging that other auxiliaries in South Carolina and other states follow Uiefr example. The program ado^t ed is simply a pledge to buy only cessities of life. This organization of engineers wives are asking other women’s bodies to adopt simalar programs. They have urged that they communi cate with Mrs. J. (J. Price, past presi dent, or with Mrs. A. R. Florence is a small hut growing city and its wide-awake people are setting the pace for other cities in that sec tion. Savannah recently furnished Florence a secretary for its Chamber of Commerce in the person of Walter Johnson, who for several years was city editor of the Savannah Press.
