So f|a* all reported cases of] poisoning havo been of sheep and goats in Texas, but it 13 possible that cases may occur in other locali ties and that, under suitable circum | stances, cattle '4vould be affected. In light cases of poisoning tht symptom is depression. Wlren ani mals are fatally poisoned they be come weak, the breathing is labored and they die with very litle strug giing. A considerable period, some times a full day, elapses between eat ing and the appearance of any symp toms of poisoning. The department specialists fear that little can be done In the way of remedies. Laxatives like Epsom sails aid in the elimination of the pol son, but the main reliance must be i in prevention.
