The bladder was created for one purpose, namely, a receptacle for the urine, and as such it is not liable to any form of disease ex cept by one of two tvays. The first ivay is from imperfect action of the kidneys. The second way is from careless local treatment of other diseases. SAMPLE PENT FREE. Unhealthy urine from unhealthy kidneys is the chief cause of blad der troubles. It is comfortable to know that Dr. Kilmer’s Swamp Koot fulfills every wish in quickly It was stated on the streets last curing bladder and urinary trou- bles. It corr^fts frequent calls, night that President McKinley had sent for Minister Woodford ingor stinging pain in passing it, inability to hold urine and sculd- and Consul-General Lee. It is strange how such reports get out. It may be that McKinley has design in delay. At any rate that is the opinion expressed by Sena tor McMillan of Tennessee. He ■ays that “the president is flat- footed on the proposition that Spain must move bodily out,” but that he recognizes “certain serious uuprepareduees” on the part of this country for a war such as might result from a clash with Spain. Tha design is possible; the “unprepareduess” is a fact. ADJOURNED ’TIL MONDAY. or bad ilTects following use of li quor, wine or beer, and overcomes that unpleasant necessity of being compelled to get up many times during the night to urinate The mild and extraordinary effect of Dr. Kilmer’s Swamp Root is soon realized. It stands the highest for its wonderful cures of the most distressing cases. If you need a medicine you should have the best. At druggists fifty cents aud one dollar. Washington, April 1.—After an ■xceediugly ‘turbulent session of ■ix hours, tbe house to-day passed the naval appropriation bill and then adjouifaed until Monday. The war spirit was manifested in all tbe speeches and overrode the naval committee itself t>y increas ing the number of torpedo boats and torpedo boat destroyers to 24, the bill ae reported providing for but 12, end the appropriation to $4,600,000 instead of $2,300,000. The amendment of Mr. Cannon, chairman of the appropriation committee, to reduce tbe num ber of battleships to one was buried under an over whelming majority. The provis ion relating to armor plate, which in ordinary times would have pre cipitated a debate of several days, was disposed of in 10 minutes, a proposition to necrease the price agreed to in the bill of $400 to $300 per ton being drowned in a perfect chorus of noes.
