Du- Bote. She passed away at her home on Dargan street yesterday after noon abont 6 o’elnek. For two years she has been in feeble health, and her last illness, a painful one, extended over a period of nearly 4 weeks- The funeral services and interment took place at Cypress, Darlingtoa county, to-day, the body, accompanied by members of the family and Rev. H. R. Mose ley, being carried to that point thia morning. Mrs. DuBose was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Parham, of Cypress, and besides the stricken husband and a little one two or three years old she leaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn. She was a great sufferer, but she bore it all patiently and approached the end with tbe calm ness and resignation of a Chris tian. The sympathy of many friends in Florence goes out to the bereft husband and family. Many minor* accidents not worthy of serious thought, but painfully present with the vic tims, occurred. Your correspond ent received a very painful wrench of the ankle, making it difficult for him to get up statistics for night message. At 4 o’clock the Charlotte fire department, which had been wired for, arrived, but by that time the fire had been gotten into control.
