Lesesne and Son who operate a cotton gin at Silver received the fol lowing letter Monday night: "W. T. Lesesne and Son: Close down your gins at once until further notice if you don't you will pay the penalty. The Black 75." The letter was mailed at Suninierton and Mr. Lesesne got it out of the Manning post office. The posting of gins should be stopped, and if any of the guilty parties are dis covered they should be hung. There is no farmer who has room to store his loose cotton, but after it is baled he can handle it.
