The car is supposed to have caught from a loose connection. Mr. and Mrs. Lachicotte of Waverly Mills -ire visiting their parents in Manning, Judge and Mrs. John S. Wilson. The fire department was called out Sunday to the drug store of Dr. A. W. Brown, colored, which was burning. The fire was extinguished with little dam oage. One of the soft drink trucks fron Sumter fell off of a bridge near Sar dinia Monday and killed a negro who was riding the truck. The driver, a white man, was also hurt. Mr. W. S.
