High Wednesday September 19t1 ['HE NEW ID MORRIS N 'year at the County Fair as it has done for the past two years, but will have an exhibit in connection with the fair and in fact will be one of the departments of the County Fair. Heretofore the poultry association has had a separate show and offered its premiums independently of the Fair Association, but this year on ac count of a lack of funds, it is unable to hold a separate show. The Fair Association, however, has been very generous and has offered premiums for all classes of birds, and it is hoped there wvill be a fine display. There will be no entrance fee in connection with this dlepartment. The Clarendon Poultry Association owns seven handsome silver cups and of course only the members of the Asso ciation can compete for these, but the association is open for members all the time, so if anyone wishes to com pete for one or more of these cups just pay a fee of fifty cents and be come a member of the association. These cups were given by the four banks of Manning, the Poultry Asso ciation Mrs. F. P. Eryin and The Alcolu R. R. Company. Those cups will be on exhibit several weeks be fore the fair, in the' window of the Home Bank & Trust Co. The association is so anxious to get the people of Clarendon County in terested in this industry, for it is the opinion of poultry raisers that this industry will experience the greatest improvement for the next few years that it has ever received.
