Last Thursday was "Tobacco day" in Manniin., and from nearly the en tire toba co helt tobacco was repre sented u pon the spacious floors of the Peole's Warehouse. Mr. C. M. Mason, the energetic manager of this house, had induced some ot our pub lie spirited citizens to contribute prizes for the sale and the conse quence was.that about 22,000 pounds of the golden leaf was put on his floor and brought prices from 5 cents to 45.
