11 DEMONSTRATION WORK. B Call Issued for Meeting to bo Held V near Columbia Saturday?Largo Attendance is Urged. K Preparations are being completed tor the meeting, near Columbia, next f Saturday, at whit-l, the new system of farm demonstration work will bo shown by the department of agriculture. A number of addresses will bo made and the scheme for "farming that pays wil be fully outlined bv the experts. The Columbia chamber of commerce and the farmers around Columbia are preparing to care for those who will attend the meeting, and the outlook is for a most successful gathering. All who wil come are urged to notify the entertainment committee of the chamber of commerce, Wil(iaui Banks, chairman. On the morning of the loth at .10 o'clock a will leave lrom the front of (he capitol and proceed to the Gonzales frani, several miles north of the city, which farm has been selected as the central demonstration farm, and at which farm these practical meetings [will be held once a month during the 12 months of the yoar.v "On arriving at tho farm the United States experts will divide the visiting farmers into groups and a practical demons) rat ion with aceoinpanving explanations will begin.
