C Showing Financial Condition Soptem ber 1.--Mr. Tatum's Report of July 21 Compared With That Given Out. 4u Ju -The State dispensary rep,)rt for the quarter ending Aug. 31, 1906, was is stied yesterday. The figures given therein aie interesting for purposes of - comparison with other reports issu ed. A statement was issued by Com, J missioner Tatin on July 21 in- which it was the purpose to show- that the A dispensary was solvent. The state ment given out yesterday was the re gular quarterly one issu-d one month and ten days after the special state ment. The figures in the special ha statement were not given in the same tabular form as is the present one is" and therefore cannot be printed' that b01 way for purposes of comparison, but some of the figures are taken frorn to each. yol According to the statement of Com- mc missioner Tatum issued July 21, the dispensary then owed $443,225.34 for liquor and on Aug. 31, the debt amounted to $580,687.21. The cash in de the State treasury, according to the W last quarterly statement, amounts to $44,637.95, and in the statement is- U14 sued on July 21 the balance was plac- Sh ed at $96,518.78.
