While in charge of said hurch, he was advanced to the Priestlood in Baltimore, by the gratefully enicmbered Bishop of Maryland. By a singular train of circumstances, egarded as providential, he was led to cceptacall to St. Helena Church, Beaubrt, S. C., of which church he took brmal charge, and officiated as rector, he first time, on Christmas day, A.
