That the said corporation may have a common seul, which they may change and renew ut pleasure; and that all deeds, uonveynuoes und grants, cove? nants and agreemouts made by their Treasurer, or any other person, by their authority and direction, according to tholr rules, shall be good und valid; and the corporation shall, ut nil times, have power lo sue and he sued, and may de? fend, and shall be held to answer hy tho name aud title aforesaid ; and may ac? quire, tuko, hold aud convoy suuu real estate as may bo deemed desirable for its place of business, or necessary for it to purchase in foreclosing or settling such mortg igey us it muy hohl as security for loans.
