REMARKABLE LTBEBAJJITY.-Tho most remarkable decision ever made at the internal revenue bureau is that a widow need not pay for a new license on the death of her husband if she continues a trade. That is an evidence of liberality without a parallel. It amounts to just this: that whether husband buys and pays for, shall not be taken from the widow at his death. The story is told in an Illinois paper that a woman made n fair agreement with her husband to commit suicide if he would; so they both held their hoads nader water nntil tho husband was dead, when the woman emerged sonnd as a dollar, paid the funeral expenses, and married again in two weeks. 'Twas ever thus. There is an old gentleman in Kew Or? leans, named Jules Padre, eighty-six years of age, who, for more than thirty Sears has not had a tooth in his head, ome six weeks ago his gums began to itch and swell, and very soon he began to ont some teeth. He has now a full mouth of young teeth, growing finely. To Make Room FoR my extensive stock of DRY GOODS CLOTHING, HATS, CAPS, Ladies* and Gentlemen's FURNISHING GOODS, UM? Nothing can restore thc hair where tho follicles arc destroyed, or the glands atrophied and decayed. But such as remain can be saved for usefulness by this application. Instead of fouling the hair with a pasty sedi? ment, it will keep it clean and vigorous. Its occasional use will prevent tho hair from turning gray or falling off, and consequently prevent baldness. Freo from those deleterious substances which make some preparations dangerous, and injurious to the hair, thc Vigor can only benefit but not harm it. If wanted merely for a HAIR DRESSING, nothing else can bc found EO desirable. Containing neither oil nor dye, it does not soil white cambric, and yet lasts long on the hair, giving it a rich, glossy lustre and a grateful perfume. Prepared by Dr, J. C.
