SUDDEN DEATH.-Tho venerable ex Judge, Aaron Vanderpoel, of Now York, died suddenly on Tuesday, from tho ef? fects of the heat. Ho was an eminent lawyer, for six years a member of Con? gress, and a firm supporter of the ad? ministrations of Presidents Jackson and Van Duren. Subsequently ho was a Judge of the Superior Court of New York city. He was an uncle of tho late John Van Euren. General O'Neill, lato Fenian general? ?simo iu the raid upon Canada, has writ? ten a pathetic letter from his dungeon nt Burlington, complaining of his utter destitution. He says ho has not got a M dollar to fee a lawyer, or a ceut to buy a newspaper, stationery, or postage Btamps." Lazarus Fuchs, 1112 years of age, is still living near Warsaw. Only throe years have elapsed since his hair became gray, and when ho was 93 years old he had a son by his second wife. His father lived 120 yoars, and his grand-father 126 years.
