The Central Railroad is now bringing cattle from Chicago to Buffalo free, and from Buffalo to Albany for $1 per car. Tho Pennsylvania Cen? tral is now arraugiug a twenty-four-hour time-table between this city and Chicago. James Boyd, ono of the largost operators in gold in Wall street, sent a letter to the President of the Stock Exchange, an? nouncing his inability to meet his en? gagements. The amount of tho failure is about $1,000,000. By order of tho Exohange, 8900,000 was sold under the rule on his account, at The report of the failure caused a decline in the premium on gold, the figure re? ceding from 112% to 111%. Advices from Southern Arizona to June 10th, give particulars of tho mur? der of Messrs. Kennedy and Israel, and the dispersion of their party. Mr. Ken? nedy lived on a ranche at Tucson. Mr. Israel was scalped, his legs burued off, his heart out out and a coul of fire placed on it. The remainder of tho party reached Camp Grant. Their mules were captured, and wagons and jmerchandize destroyed. General Cogswell ordered Lieutenant Cushing, of the Third Ca vulry, to pursue the savages. Lieutenant Cushing discovered and surprised tho Indian camp, killed thirty-five Indians and captured two. He also destroyed the village and other property of the savages. Col. Sanford, a short timo pre? vious, in a battle with the same band, killed twenty-one of them. NEW YORK, June 26.-The rooms of the Cuban junta were robbed of $80, 000 United States bonds. WASHINGTON, June 26.-The supposed Georgia bill comes up iu the Senate on Tuesday, aud will pass at once, when tho member will be seated. The contest for Senatorships probably will go over to next session. WASHINGTON, June 27.-lu tho House, bills were introduced regulating the manufacture of brandy from fruits; es? tablishing department of revenue; pu? nishing collection of illegal taxes from passengers; issuoof four per ceut. bonds, convertible into legal tenders, and vice versa; instructing tho Ways and Moans Committee to report a bill reducing the salt tariff fifty per cent. The fuudiug bill was made tho special order for to? morrow. A Committee of Conference was ordered on diplomatic appropria? tions. The House was engaged with appro? priations, mostly effecting tho District. Tho Currency Conference Committee re? ported substantially ns stated in Satur? day's despatch. The Senate is considering thc House revenue bill. Sherman, from the Fi? nance Committee, stated that the loss of tho.incomo tax would require tho con? tinuance of the existing tariff on sugar, and tax on gross receipts. In the Senate, servile, otherwise Chi? nese, labor, was made tho special order for Friday. Night sessions were op? posed by many Senators, on account of feebleness. Tho Secretary of the Trea? sury was requested to communicate in? formation regarding captured and aban? doned property. The tax bill was re? sumed. The income tax was resumed. An amendment, taxing salaries, was adopted. A motion to continue tho pre? sent sugar tariff, and tax on gross sales, was defeated. Without definite action on the bill, adjourned. The Senate is in session to-night, considering the Southern Pacific Railroad bill. Internal revenue receipts to-day over $1,250,000. The President withdrew Cornell's nomination as New York Assistant Trea? surer. An official Treasury statemont asserts that the equalizing bill, which recently passed the House, involves $101,000,000.
