It is not the wisest man nor the wisest newspaper that knows best how to deal with the tender emotions of the human heart. A mau named Schwartz confessed to having murdered a Louisville irou founder, named Par? kins, three years ago. Now it turns out that Perkins was not murdered, that ho was uot au irou founder, and that he never lived in Louisville, and that Schwartz is a dead beat, who merely wished to be sent from Momphis to Louisville with nu escort suitable to his rank. A German archiologist engaged in ex? ploring tho extensive plain on the const of Asia, Asia Minor, believed to have been the site of ancient Troy, claims to have discovered the remains of a massive wall, about eight feet thiok.
