Despatches from DeBodas inform the Government that the insurgent Generals propose to surrender, on the condition that their lives and property be spared. DeBodas asks instructions. The Government re? plies that insurgent officers sincerely de? siring to give up the contest and become reconciled to Spain, will be dealt with generously. The Cortos will commence discussing the occupant for the throne on Monday. Partisans of Montpensicr are very zealous, and have great hopos, bnt the Bepublican journals aro bitter against him, declaring that the country io in danger when such a name is men? tioned in connection with the crown, and urge unrelenting war against the Frenchman, as they term him. Butler rose to report tho Georgia bill, which the Speaker decided not in order. Butler moved to set aside the tax bill; negatived.
