J., week before last, Geo. MoKin less, a collier, and Abijah Davis, a j man employed by the former, were | lost upon a lonely road, while they wore moving their families from South River. When they were within about ] two miles of their stopping place, tho two men loitered behind the ?wagons, and, it is supposed, lost their way in the darkness and storm. Their bodies have lately been found in tue wilderness, about four miles apart. The London Times comments with wonder on tb 3 rapid progress of the Pacific Railroad.
