WASHINGTON, March 19.-In tho Senate, a bill removing Butler's rep? resentativos from thc Tennessee dis? abilities was discussed. During the discussion, it transpired that tho Senate Judiciary Committee are con? sidering a bill relieving persons who have been loyal since 18G2; also, that Senators do not consider tho four? teenth arliolo part of tho Constitu? tion. Tho matter was postponed. Tho tax bill was resumed. The bill was restored to its original shape, after a struggle to retain tho tax on refined sugar and its products and tuipeutine. It was stated, during tho debate, that turpentine yielded nearly half a million revenue. Sher? man, in discussing tho matter, insi? nuated that the repeal of taxes would result in deficit. Tho bill finally passed. In the House, a bill providing for vacancy in Chief Justiceship passed. Tho Freedman's Bureau oxtension was resumed.
