Answer "One peals from the- steeple, and the other-don't." ? _' ' ARREST ON SUSPICION.-Simon Brown, a colored man, was arrested on Friday night, by the detectives, on suspicion of his having stolen a lot of wine and other liquors from the cellar of Mr. Fehrenbach's saloon, IQ Broad street, near East Bay. The prisoner bad formerly been in the employ of Mr. Fehren bach, and with the keys' in charge, had free access to the wine cellar where the supplies'of ? wines, Ac, weje stored. He was dismissed fron^his place a few days ago, and the pro? prietor suddenly discovered that the cellar had been robbed of wine, Ac, to thejralue of two hundred dollars'. Elmon was arrested by the de te ct 1res, "and has been turned over to a trial justice lor the preliminary examination.
