Trie Impeachment Movement. The resolution impeaching Governor Scott of high crimes and misdemeanors was de? feated in the House of Representatives yes terday, and, in a party sense, the result is alUhat we could have desired. Io ihe face of folioing evidence, the representatives of the Radical party have chosen to decline to pat the culprit on trial. They have shown their unwillingness to purify South Carolina Republicanism. They have deliberately de? termined to shield from punishment a self convicted knave. It remains now for the minority in the Legislature, and for the tax payers or the State, to take up the work of reform, and give to the people the honest and able government which they both desire and demand. This can be accomplished by concert of action on the part of all citizens of South Carolina who are not thieves or fools. ijostetter's Sitters. ,3?-THE GREAT PICTORIAL AN? NUAL.-llostetter'?
