Daphne effected her escape through i storm of missiles and made her complaint tothe trial justice. After a bearing, both patties were aonnd over to keep the peace and discharged. NARROW ESCAPE OF A TRIAL JUSTICE. About a quarter to four o'clock, yesterday alter aoon, as Trial J catlee Schr?der was sitting in his idles at the back ol thc Courthouse reading a paper, thc report of a pistol was beard, and a juliet came through the window-glass, and, pass ng within a few inches of his head, struck the ?vail beyond. The report was heard plainly by Ul in the neighborhood, and the alarm being riven, a strict search was instituted by the orn :ere of the detective force, which failed in dls .ovcrlng the origin or cause of thc shot. Mr. Schroder was scated near the window, in front of ils desk, anti was plainly visible to any person at he back of bis yard, the direction from which he shot came.
