The stocks in thc interior towna show an increase of 6019, against 639 bales last year. We look for Increas? ed receipts for the next month or six weeks, be? cause tue country tributary to New Orleans, Mobile and Galveston, where a large crop has been made, have only delivered so far io v per cent, over last year, and the receipt* have been delayed by low water In the tributaries. Savan? nah and Charleston have delivered 41 per cent, more than last year. If we look back at the course of receipts for the past five years, lt will tie not faed that there has been a ral ling off from the second week in December (this year's receipts were 157,873 j to the second week In January (IQIB week.) after which the receipts were lea vier through the balance or January and part of Feb? ruary. CROPS.-We have nothing new to note, except flue weather for picking, since our last report on 30th December. The receipts are now 394,230 bales ahead of last year, end ir the receipts should now drop to last year's figures, the crop wou'd be ab jut 3.500.000.
