There has been a steady inquiry for this grain, and prices have been generally linn and well supported. The transactions have amounted to near 1000 tierces of ?lean carolina, among which were 45 at 6?c; 50 at 0 9-16; 99 at ty, 216 at 6?; 198 at 6?; 130at615-16; 39 Ht 7c. We quote common to faur clean Carolina at 60 6? ; good 6?07c fl lb. Carolina rongh maybe quoted at $1 50@i 60 for Ulterior, aud $1 6t>0i yo ft bushel for seacoast. Yesterday the market was firm. Sales 125 tierces of clean Carolina, say : 50 tierces at 6?; 73 tier ees at 6?c. fl rb. NATAL STORES.-The arrivals have been light. 1 The market has been dull for most of these arti? cles, and spirits turpentine has been declining. Transactions in spirits early in thc week took place at 41c, but since buyers have been offering : lower figures, without sales. Rosins have been dull, and our quotations somewhat nominal, say extra No. 1 rosin at $3 5004; No. 1 at $2 7503 25;, low No. 1 at'f2 2602 50; No. 2 to extra No. 2 at $1 8002, and No. 3 at $1 75. Crude turpentine may be quoted at $2 80 ft bbl. for virgin, $2 60 for yellow dip. and $1 00 for bard. HAY.-The arrivals under this head have been confined to a few parcels of North River qualities. Jobbing sales of this description tock place at 1 $1 25 ft hundred. CORN.-The arrivals were about 4000 bushels from Baltimore. The demand has been light, and principally of a retail character. FLOUR.-The market Ls well supplied with South? ern and Western qualities of this article, for which there has been a moderate demand, prices remaining without important alteration.
