The Money Market?
THURSDAY, December 9.
' ne market ts much the same as at our last
Tepori, int there is a better feeling ana an in?
creased desire to invest In securities. Thc strin?
gency of the money market is something unusual,
and is caused by the scarcity of currency-not
enough being m circulation to meet the wants of
the community. It is rated at ito l\ per cent,
per month on good collaterals. Bank bills aro In
good demand, und are appreciated in value.
Other securities are unchanged, though thc tone
?f the market is much improved.
