The lateness of the hoar of the 'retir?as of ] the members of the otaba from the supper, on Monday night, was not at all conducive to early rising, and when it was announced, at half past Dine o'clock yesterday morning, that om? nibuses wore ia waiting to carry the members to the Mount Pleasant ferry boat, a majority were asleep. Tlity were aroused, and some managed to dress and take breakfast before ten o'clock, the hoar for starting, arrived bat several were deprived of the pleasure of par? taking of the first meal of the day. At ten o'clock the band was placed ic aa om? nibus, and the members of the daba in two others, and were driven slowly to the ferry wharf, where the steamer Poco din was io wait? ing, ith a camber of nitiseos already OD board. The members formed line, the band ia front, and to its music march id oa board. Ia a few moments thereafter the steamer moved off the band playiog "A Life oa tb ? Ocean Wave.'* She proceeded dowa the line ot wharves, theo back, and toen across to Mount Pleasant. As she passed the steamer Dictator, whicn was laying at the South Atlantic wharf, three cheers and a tiger were given, the drams of the band were rolled, and tho .whistle of the Poo iain blew at each cheer. On the retara this was repeated, and the crew of the Diotator, net as before ?taken by surprise, acknowledged the compliment by dipping the steamer's flag. THE A Vi RIVAL AT MoU*r PLEA-ANT. About half-past ten o'clock the Pocosia reached Mount Pleaeant wharf, and all rapidly disembarked, formed line, and wi tb music marched arnuad to the greuud selected for th? use of the clubs near the wharf: Ia a few moments after their arrival each and every mau was engaged in some species of j amusement.
