We confidently hope to tee the ramie soon occupy its deserv? edly important position as one of the staple productions of the South. The simplicity of | its cult ore, the certainty of thc crop, and high prices offered for the product, will, we think, induce many of our planters and farmers to en? gage in its cultivation.
