Strike on this Rice Plantations, Cooper Bxteb.?The laborers in the rice fields on the Cooper Biver have struck for one-half of the crop, instead of one-third allowed under the arrangement of ihe past season. Wolfe, while trying to serve a magistrate's warvdnt on a man by the name of Emanuel, at the house of Dr. Collins, King-street, near Morris, was resisted by Collins, and a fight en sued, in which Wolfe was roughly handled. Wolfe appealed to the officer of tho Upper Guardhouse for a policeman to assist him in carrying out his duty, but was refused. Wolfe finally eouglit assistance at the Lower Guardhouse, where a sufficient force was furnished him. Emanuel was taken in custody, but up to a late hour last night the policemen were still hunting for Dr. Collins. A goat was arrested in King-street yesterday, which was painted in fancy colors on the homo, nose, neck, legs, back and toil, and had the words "Ku-Klux," in large - 'etters on both its sides.
