NBW ORLEANS, Feb. 1-11 A, M.-COTTON.-There ap? pears to be a pretty general inquiry, and a few hundred feel?? have changed hands, but nothing has transpired yet with regard to prices. Lost evening we quoted the market firm at 40(g)4lc for Ordinary, 44@45c for Good Ordinary. 46@47c. for Low Middling, and 48c.@- for Middling. To-day buyers are endeavoring to buy at easier al* .hough not quotably lower ratet. Thoro appears to be batt? poor prospect ot the eales reaching the 4800 bales sold yesterday. Soo AB AND MOLASSES.-Thoro is yery little or no Stock on hand, and the supp les, which are very light have sold readily at full and firm prices, the sales com* prising 60 hhds. 8ugar, in several lots, at 13,Sc for good ejommon, 15c for good fair, and 16c per lb. for strictly prime.
