The word pie?a short word of 3 letters?yet a very important word and one fraught with meaning. The distribution of Federal offices with the rewards, the emoluments, the salaries that -go with them, has been most happily termed PIE. It means' something nice, sweet and juicy. We behold a beautiful woman, and our comment expressed or implied is, "She's too sweet to eat pie." Everybody loves pie. So we keep Apples?green and dried ?and the nicest Peaches, with Spice, Sugar and all of the Flavoring Extracts that enter into the manufacture of a real nice pie. And we have Pie Pans and Dishes from which to eat the pie. We are authorities on pie. Herndon & Gordon. AT THE BRATTON FARM.
