The last iusUnce of "paying in kind" that we have heard is related by Dr. h?, who wus called to the beside of a young man, quito ill, but who, by follow ing the doctor's directions, and good nursing, recovered. Culling upon the good physician to thank him for his kind ness, he expressed regret that his ex treme poverty prevented nny remunera tion other than' simple gratitudo, "un less," continued ho, "you will take pay - '?What is your way ?" tuent in my way."
