At Folder's Store, in St. Matthews Parish, our citizens were unanimous in ipaying their taxes. The taxes of many of them amounting to over two hundred "dollars each. We have not heard of a -single protest or word of grumbling. The County Treasurer informs us that 'he never saw men more eager or willing to pay 'their taxes. At Branch vi lie and Lcwisvillc, a few failed to pay, but wo think they will rc ?oonsidor the mattor, and during Mr. Mount's stuy at the Court House, will ?come forward und settle. .
