The Camphell Minktkei.i.h, so-called.! gave an entertainment here on last Thursday evening. Thou Can'st not sat I did it.?W* in nocently accused our old Council, in our lust issue, of being the "constructionists," of the obstruction in Market-street. We learn since, that it was "put up" by private parties, and that our old Council allowed it, thinking that it might accrue to the benefit of tho Town generally. We tender our apologies to the old Council, but renew oar request to the pre sent Council, to have it removed, or fixed up, nnd enforce the Ordinances passed by the ex Council iu relation to peddling produce through the streets until after certain h/mrs.
