Wc find them incorpora ted into Southern School Literature, iu Ster ling's Fourth Reader, ono of his admirable scries, which is now being universally adopted in the schools of the South. ? Incendiarism. On last Sunday night, or rather on Monday morning before daylight, Easterlies Steam Saw Mill, situated on the Biuuickcr's Bridge Road in tho Fork of Edisto, twelve miles from .this place, was discovered to bo on fire. The "flames at tho time of discovery wore so far ad vanced, as to rondcr all attempts to save the mill, or the lumber alongside of it, utterly iutile. The mill was entirely consumed, and about 8evoaty-five thousand feet of lumber. There is no doubt that it was the work of incendiaries. ? . Th? loss of'Mr. Easterliti is at least four thousand dollars') aud the property was not insured. Mr. Easterliti has offered a liberal reward for the detection and conviction of any ?one of the offenders concerned in this nefarious act. ""More Town Improvements.
