The Ohio Scale Works of Cincinnati have just completed and are now introducing to the public a Handsomely finished Family Scale, an article that has always been needed in every household, ami in a communication addressed to the publishers of this paper the proprietors ask us to refer them to some reliable party, to introduce it for them to ilie people of this County. It is very seldom that a new article steps so suddenly into universal favor. Ilonse-kccpcrs are loud in its praise. It is always ready, there are no weights to get lost or to be hunted up, is reliable, and will not get out of order. The description of them is a handsome base surmount ted by a couiiiii in which works a spiral spring so scientifically adjusted as to weigh anything up io twelve pounds with perfect accuracy; on the top of tho column is tho platform on which the articles to he weighed are placed, and they have an adjustable indicator so that you can take the tare of any vessel you may use in weighing, giving you the exact net weight.? Housekeepers at once sec their value in weighing fruits, sugars and other ingredients used in preserving, cooking, etc. or in testing the weights of purchases from others. The Scales are made of all lJrass, arc highly > polished and arc finished in a skillful manner. They are very attractive and take the eye of PVfrv nnn u Iwt ennu I Imitt J ...V >. I It seems to us that nearly every family in this " county will want one, and is certainly ararcop]>orlunity for some smart and energetic party t J l?ick up a nice liitie income during the next few months. The Company has agents in other counties who are easily making front !>"} 00 to SO 00 per day selling them, and we would recommend parties in need of employment to drop the OH It) SCALE WORKS, No. 1J"? and 1-7 Ceilt ral Avenue, Cincinnati, ().. a Postal Card, and j all information etc., will he cheerfully given them hy mentioning our paper. ti-Ot.
