C.-Adv. -.-Donnie Hicks died at his home In the West End of Walhalla late Tuesday afternoon. Tho announce ment came as a great surprise to many friends of tho family and the deceased, who had not known of his illness. Mr. Hicks had boon suffer ing from erysipelas for some time, and it ls supposed that the disease boca mo internal as well as evidenced outwardly, and that this fact, brought his death so unexpectedly. Mr. Hicks was about 0(1 years of ago and leaves his wife and several children to mourn hts death. Mr. Hicks was a good citizen and kind neighbor, and will bo sorely missed in this commu nity. His wife is a daughter of the late Dr. .lohn R. Morton. Funeral services will bo held this afternoon, the Interment to fake place at Rocky Knoll cemetery. Mrs. Kelley was In her C Ith year, having beon born In November, 1864. She was a devoted wife and mother and a good woman. She will ho greatly missed from her community and by a wide circle of friends. Before mar riage she was a Miss Crenshaw, ho ing a daughter of the late Henry D. and Sallie Crenshaw. Mrs. Kelley ls survived by hot husband and sevetal children.
