Mitchell, of Monea Path, closed a very successful series of meetings ut this place last Friday. Twenty-three were added to the church membership. The meet ing was well attended day and night. Stovall In a series of meetings at Rock Hill and visiting relatives in this section, left last week in their touring car For Bowersvllle, Toccoa and Mount Airy. Ga. After visiting friends and relatives there they will be at home to their friends at Macon. Mr. Walters, who owns several hundred acres of land in South Georgia, is going into the hog busi ness. By in vitation it was the pleasure of quite a number Of relatives and friends to meet at this delightful home and en joy their hospitality. Tho beautiful yard had boen arranged for tho accommo dation of tho largo number of guests. In an hour or so a lengthy table was prepared in the grove in the rear of the house and an abundance of good things spread on lt. About thirty minnies were very pleasantly spent, talking and laughing, and a general unod timii was had. The (lay was most enjoyably spent,' and its pleas ant recollections will long be remem bered by the relatives and friends who were prosont.
