there is always the chance that some
Hine it may come up when ? shall
make my words good.
"No corporation, no politician,
must ever support mo for anything
under the idea that I will pardon
thal corporation or that politician if
lie or it is corrupt.
"If either corporation or politi
cian, one or the other, helps at any
time to put me In a position of In
llueuco, let them remember thal If
they hcnclll by it themselves, they
help me at their peril, for I will burl
them if I get the chnilCO."

I were managed In obedience to law, !
and he Insisted thal if they should

fight on the Republican organization!
there, saying if he did 80 Mr. Hearst
i
j would he in sympathy with him. Tho
; Colonel said :
"I am going hack to my State, as
mentioned by Mr. Hearst, to light
against the bosses. I will welcome
thc support of any man who wishes
