GALVESTON, April 16.-A speoial from' San Antonio to the Newe, dated April 15, gives the details of a horrible tripple murder about seven milos from that city. John Simmons, a heavy ntook owner, left his homo on Sunday. Yesterday his herder J. S. Phillips, went out with ?heep. About noon Mrs. Simmons was found lying in tho herder's room with her throat out and ber body bear ing evidence of an outrageous assault. An alarm was given, and soon after the bodies of MrB. Simmons's child and her mother, MTSV Parker, were found at tbe foot of an embank mont one hundred yards from the house their skulls being crushed in with a rook. The border eeems to think that Simmons waar the murderer but be himrelf was arrested and committed without bail.
