That Caesatr should have that which is his own, &c. And if the governmient is not neutral to wards Christianity, then 'where is the vitality of Chrisianity-Charity--which is its all-per vading, pure white light ? Atnd then as this new phase of the madness of P'uritanic :nsendental lsm and higher-law sweeps and surges into an angry, seething flood of fanaticis-m, who shall ;ell the limits of its licen'e ? Will there not trring issues as to whether Catholics or Protestants are Christiarns? And if the fvr mer, then which division of the Church-t he Greek or the Iloman ? if Protestantism, then which sect?
