V.V.J. ? this life on the morning of Christmas day, 1911, being 21 years, 7 months and *9 days of age. He was the son of Mr. and Mr9. J. Lem Berry, who are now residents of Swansea. His remains were laid to rest near Swansea. The writer knew the deceased quite well when the family resided in New Brookland. Jesse was a general favorite among all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His death was very j sudden and unexpected, he being sick | only a short while. His family are ! ?adly grieved by his death. No longer can they hear his soft and welcome footsteps around their family fireside. He has left a vacant chair in their home and family circle?a stillness that is almost unbearabl ; but amid all there still remains h j sweet assurance that the life of this dear boy has merely passed from this life into the fVv.nof KoTrnnrl ho fnrovflr with the J1W.U l/(/JWUU vv blessed Savior.
