Laurens Liquor Shower. Laurens Advertiser. Sheriff Owings and Deputy Reid held a little informal whiskey and beer shower on the public square Monday morning. Invitations to witness the scene were given out in a general way, by the odor of the fluid, and a large crowd gathered to witness the show.
