Columbia, April 26.?While attempting to board a north-bound freigh train, third section of No 8 of the Seaboard Air Line, this morning, TrainmasterClem Lane fell under the moning cars and his right leg was so badly crushed that amputation was necessary The operation was performed at the Columbia Hospital, where the injured trainman was taken a9 soon as possble afteethe accident.
